Dr Travis Kong is Associate Dean (Undergraduate Education) of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Associate Professor and Director of a master’s programme in Media, Culture and Creative Cities in the Department of Sociology at the University of Hong Kong. He is trained in sociology with a specialization in identity, sexuality, media and culture. He is the author of Chinese Male Homosexualities: Memba, Tongzhi and Golden Boy (Routledge 2011) and《男男正傳︰香港年長男同志口述史》(進一步2014).
